This 2000 MX-5 LS was purchased in 2003, from a BMW dealership in San Diego. She has lived an interesting life, and was shipped to Italy in 2011 to be used as my press vehicle. She lived in Italy for three years, and was driven up and down the Amalfi Coast many times. I was a contributor at Vintage Motorsport Magazine, and drove her all over Italy to cover vintage races. I repainted her in Italy, and shipped her back to the USA when I returned in 2014.

Her leather seats and soft top have both been replaced in black, from the original tan. She also has a tow kit installed, and in 2003, the first year I owned her, towed my 100-year Harley Davidson Sportster to Las Vegas for the HD 100-year celebration. I used a T-back trailer outfitted with matching chrome wheels, and she was the star at the HD dealership in Vegas. She now lives on Camp Pendleton Marine Corp base in Southern California, and is driven very little. Total original mileage is 107,000.
